When used coat donations were suspended across Chicagoland due to the Coronavirus, Zakat Chicago became more determined to increase Winter Aid. In response to the call heard around the city for coats for the impending winter, ZC procured and donated thousands of new winter coats, gloves, and other supplies to create Winter Kits that were distributed across Chicago.
